The School’s Intensive Courses offer a unique opportunity for aspiring dancers to experience the School’s world-class System of Training with expert Artistic staff and guest teachers. Students will develop their skills and explore their love for dance with others who share their passion in a supportive, inspiring environment.
Students at an Intensive Course will hone their technique and grow their strength, stamina and flexibility in classes carefully crafted for their age group, with The Royal Ballet School’s exceptional teachers guiding students to master new skills and offering tailored feedback. Students will develop greater self-awareness and understanding of their capabilities, strengths and areas for improvement, and their unique attributes as a dancer, growing in confidence.
The Royal Ballet School’s Intensive Courses also offer opportunities to explore different dance styles and disciplines and understand the concepts of artistry, musicality and self-expression. Through experiencing a period of intensive dance training, students may start to gain an insight into full-time vocational training and whether this may be a suitable option for them in the future. The School currently offers in-person Intensive Courses in the UK and abroad.
