This is the 12th year of The Young Choreographer’s Festival (YCF), directed by Emily Bufferd, to be producing the work of up-and-coming young artists in all genres of dance. This year’s event, held June 23, at NYC’s Symphony Space, will showcase the work of 14 18-27-year-old choreographers, selected by a highly esteemed curation panel alongside guest artists.

In support of YCF’s mission of ‘Education + Presentation + Cultivation,’ the 2023 Young Choreographers have also been assigned a mentor, and had three educational sessions prior to the performance on June 23.
