Dance the Magic has just announced its Dance Educator Conference, Pixie Dust in Paradise, happening this summer. This event is created for dance educators to gather in an elevated escape to help learn, grow and rejuvenate – surrounded by beauty, intention and a touch of magic. It will be held July 27-31, 2026, at AULANI, A Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii, concurrently with Dance the Magic’s 25th anniversary celebration.
As Dance the Magic celebrates 25 years, the organization is not only reflecting on its history but also looking ahead. The goal is to inspire studios through unique opportunities while continuing its legacy at the Disney Parks for future dancers and inviting them to be part of more magical moments still to come.
Some of the guest speakers include Wade Robson, Jennilee Barr, Jessalynn Siwa, Tia Bee Stokes, Julie Kay Stallcup, Katy Tate, Tiffany Maher, Norm Hull, Debi Barr, Shawn Kelly and more!
In addition to the seminars, attendees can also expect time exploring the island, a luau party, cocktail hour, Dance the Magic performances, a professional photoshoot, time to rejuvenate and time to connect with like-minded leaders.
Wade Robson will be teaching both Meditation and Movement, as well as a seminar called “The Support They Need.” This session will focus on giving studio directors and dance parents insight and guidance to better support dancers’ emotional and mental well-being throughout their dance journeys.
There is a scheduled panel discussion with Katy Tate, Tiffany Maher and Alan Collins on “Taking the Professional Path.” Attendees can expect to gain insight into their professional careers and advice for navigating the industry.
Jessalynn Siwa (studio owner, dance mom, competition director) and Tia Bee Stokes (dancer and cancer survivor) will be part of the Enchantment seminar alongside Dancers Against Cancer.
An exciting Performance Lab seminar will be taught by Jennilee Barr, Artistic Director of Dance the Magic. This session will dive into theming, storytelling, musicality, all while relaxing in paradise.
Other seminar offerings include leadership, onboarding staff, addressing studio drama, creating magic in your business and so much more! A well-rounded mix of topics to make sure everyone leaves with immense knowledge to bring back to their studios.
Refuel your passion as a studio director in paradise with other like-minded leaders.
