The Moulin Rouge is visiting Las Vegas, straight from Paris, to audition for male and female dancers this September. The Moulin Rouge looks for tall, confident and well-trained, technical dancers for its iconic cabaret, which dates back to 1889.
The Moulin Rouge is popular the world over, for good reason. Dance Informa’s Directors recently visited the famous theater and were given an exclusive back stage tour, as well as tickets for the 9pm show. They had never seen so many feathers! The Moulin Rouge actually owns a feather company that is housed in the theater building to meet the demands of the costume designers. And there is an entire room dedicated to sequins! It’s a dancer’s dream!
The Moulin Rouge is a magical spectacular that’s full of surprises. The show is high energy and a sensory delight from start to finish.
With multiple shows every single day of the year, including Christmas and New Year’s, the Moulin Rouge never stops!
Make sure you get to the Vegas audition this September. Artistic Director Janet Pharaoh will be in attendance, as well as Erik O.Sorensen, Resident Choreographer. This is your opportunity to perform in one of the world’s most renowned shows, and dance professionally in Paris!
