On Saturday July 14th Project Dance will block off a section of
Circular Quay, Sydney Harbour, to make way for a large raised stage
and professional sound system for up to 10 hours of nonstop dance
performances from a variety of dance studios and professional companies
presenting their unique choreography.
Project Dance Sydney will not only provide a rare opportunity for
dancers and dance groups to perform in the open to a wide public,
but allow all participants to take dance classes taught by leading
international dance industry professionals. Jazz, Ballet, Tap Dance,
Hip Hop, Modern, Musical Theatre and Liturgical dance styles will
all be presented and all participants will have an opportunity to
ask questions to renowned Broadway dancers, dance company directors
and teachers, in an open forum, and network with other dancers who
are working toward a career in dance.
