By Kristy Johnson

Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance is an elite institution for all dance styles.

With a professional career that continues to flourish, Jason Coleman’s years of experience and accomplishments to date provide a body of knowledge that he can share with his students at the centre.

Ministry of Dance

With a high calibre listing of acclaimed Australian choreographers and performers including Kelly Aykers, Carrie Green, Dana Jolley and Sue-Ellen Shook, Ministry of Dance aims to prepare their dancers for successful professional careers in Australia and abroad.

For those dance enthusiasts who prefer to utilise the services available at Ministry of Dance on a casual basis, the centre offers the opportunity for guest teachers to communicate their knowledge of the dance industry through workshops. With guest master classes as a method of keeping dancers on the cutting edge through the exposure to different styles and forms of movement, students have the opportunity to learn from Australia’s leading choreographers including Kelley Abbey, Jason Gilkinson and Nacho Pop.

Versatility of dance styles is a common thread within the television series ‘So You Think You Can Dance’. As a judge on this show, Jason Coleman communicates the same message of the importance of broadening your performance and choreographic capabilities through the wide array of dance classes that Ministry of Dance provides its students. Dancers may choose from a multitude of dance genres including Classical, Ballroom, Commercial, Street and Musical Theatre and as the industry is placing an emphasis on dancers to be a ‘triple-threat’ Ministry of Dance offers a singing and entertainment agency.
