The Riot Act - Campbelltown Arts Centre
Free Performance Showing
Campbelltown Arts Centre is engaging freelance theatre director & CCD artist, Karen Therese as it’s resident artist to undertake research for a new work entitled The Riot Act. Karen and a highly skilled team of professional artists will explore broad notions surrounding communities that have experienced social unrest, including Redfern, Blacktown & Macquarie Fields, for the creative development of The Riot Act. There will be a Performance Showing of the work in progress, featuring storytelling, new media and physical theatre.

World Zouk Master Workshop Series
Brisbane’s premier authentic Latin dance academy, Rio Rhythmics, will play host to world master zouk dancer, teacher and choreographer, Adilio Porto, in a series of exciting workshops. The workshops will focus on Porto’s specialty – zouk lambada, with additional workshops in samba de gafieira, soltinho and forró for dancers with a minimum of six months experience.
